- Typical Schedule: Starts at 2.5 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then increases by 2.5 mg increments every 4 weeks if needed up to the target or maximum dose.
How to Inject
- Frequency: Inject once a week on the exact same day, any time of day, with or without food.
- Where to Inject: Under the skin (subcutaneously) into the stomach, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate the exact spot each week.
- Basic Steps: Attach a new sterile needle, dial the dose until the ‘1’ shows in the window, push the needle straight into the skin at a 90-degree angle, press the plunger down until it reads ‘0’, and hold for 10 seconds
